Planned flights
Plan a route ahead of time and have X Captain check that you flew it.
A planned flight (also called a controlled flight) is a flight you set up before you take off. X Captain then follows the flight and checks that you actually flew the route you planned.
Planning a flight
Go to Plan a Flight in the dashboard and enter your departure, arrival and route. If you use SimBrief, you can also bring in your SimBrief plan.
Flight status
A planned flight goes through these stages:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Planned | Created, you haven't started flying yet |
| Preflight | The plugin picked up your aircraft at the gate |
| Departed | You're in the air |
| Landed | You've touched down at the end of the flight |
| Fulfilled / Not fulfilled | Whether you flew the planned route |
| Cancelled | You cancelled the plan |
You can cancel a planned flight while it is still Planned, Preflight or Departed.
